Happy 2017 to each of you!
We are West Texas professionals who help others achieve their full potential by improving their knowledge, skills, and abilities in the workplace. We go by many titles: talent development managers, trainers, instructional designers, performance consultants, front-line managers, workplace learning professionals, and more.
We had tremendous success in 2016, thanks to the leadership and vision of our Past President, Heather Smith, and we are excited about what's to come in 2017. We saw steady growth and put things into place to provide our chapter with sustainability and continued success.
We will continue to provide top notch programs that will meet the needs of our rapidly changing work environments. We will also leverage the use of technology to extend our reach across the South Plains to become a true regional association. We've worked hard to build a solid foundation for our chapter and look to build upon that success and help others and their organizations in all things TD. Our overall goal is to make West Texas ATD a group of which you want to be a part, resources that enhance your skills, relationships that offer guidance – your “Go To” resource for West Texas talent development.
Additionally, we want to capitalize on your talents. If you would like to share your gifts with our chapter (photography, graphic design, online promos, a warm smile for greeting, leading an Ice Breaker, articles/blogs on talent topics, etc.), please email me and let me know how you would like to get involved. We need more than a Board and Committee members to make this chapter the “Go To” resource, and you can offer as much or as little time as you prefer. Please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org to let me know how you would like to be involved.
I sincerely look forward to partnering with you in 2017!
